Georgia is a hyperrealistic cake artist with a background in Art History, a career in FMCG product development, and a lifelong obsession with creativity, detail, and storytelling.
Georgia’s journey into cake artistry began in 2020 during maternity leave. In the quiet intervals between those new baby feeds and naps, Georgia found herself reflecting on what she truly wanted to do - and more specifically - create. Cakes had always been a passion for Georgia (back to the earliest years where she insisted on making her younger brother and sister’s birthday cakes, as well as her own), but she wasn’t interested in creating the expected. Georgia wanted to build something niche, visually arresting, and rooted in entertainment. Something that merged her love of intersting detail, playful illusion, and audience engagement.
Immersing herself in the techniques of hyperrealistic cake design, refining her skills and gradually building a brand that resonated with both local and global audiences, Georgia’s cakes were making waves. Initially embraced by Edinburgh’s creative community, her work quickly gained traction with journalists and media, and was shared by brands who saw the potential to grow their own audiences through the unexpected charm of edible art. Simultaneously, the viral “is it cake?” trend on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok was drawing incredible engagement, and at an incredible rate. Georgia’s work presented - as it still does today - the opportunity for brands and businesses to get involved.
Today, Georgia specialises in creating bespoke cakes and branded content that continue to surprise, delight, and spark conversation. Her portfolio includes collaborations with household names such as Net-a-Porter, IKEA, Netflix, Dove, and Virgin Money. Other recent projects include a front and center feature in a campaign with Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley and Celia Imrie, built around a game-activation promoting Netflix’s ‘The Thursday Murder Club’.
Whether crafting a cake that looks like a chic, luxury bag, a life size pizza oven, or a cluster of crime scene props, Georgia’s goal is always the same: to make people look twice, smile, and remember. She brings a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of brand storytelling, and a commitment to creative excellence, one slice at a time.
As a cake maker and content producer, Georgia’s work spans two core offerings:
Content Cakes: hyperrealistic cakes designed for digital campaigns, complete with pre and post-production support from concept to caption.
Event Cakes: immersive, installation-style cakes and mini cake activations for live experiences.
Pushing boundaries - technically, visually, and emotionally - defines an approach to cake making that is pretty unique and that Georgia is delighted to offer. Every cake is engineered to surprise, styled to perform, and crafted with obsessive attention to detail. Georgia brings a neurodivergent lens to her processes: systems thinking, textural precision, and a deep love of cracking the code of what makes people truly feel something.
